Cookie Party is Healed!!!

iLoveCookieParty.com , along with apparently millions of other websites, got sick with a virus last week! It really stunk, not being able to process orders and having shoppers afraid of shopping in fear of catching something nasty! Well, good news! We got our shop treated and debugged. Now we're ready to open our virtual doors again!! So have no fear- Cookie Party is back in business =)

ART STAR Craft Bazaar

The time has come again for the Art Star Craft Bazaar. It's going to be at Penn's Landing again this year-- Sat May 15- Sun May 16. I just got the post card in the mail today and sadly I will not be attending this year.
You see, Philadelphia and I were in a unhealthy relationship and needed a break. Philadelphia beat my ass pretty good this past winter, making it too difficult to even remember the days when every inch of my body wasn't covered in layers of clothing. So the 100+ Artists and Crafters will have to get along with out this Cookie Party lover.

Review on A Lovely Little Deer Blog

I received a message a few months back from Rebecca of alovelylittledeer blog inviting me to send her some products to review. Considering the crafty goddess that she is, I jumped at the opportunity. A gathered up a bunch of Cookie Party goodies and mailed them off to the UK. After about a week I got an email saying "You Spoiled Me!!". She truly was a pioneer in the d.i.y. movement. I'm so happy for her and her success. Recently Urban Outfitters started carrying Lime Crime Make Up! Go Doe! and thanks again for the review :)

I'm so excited I got these new trims in! The metallic ruffled elastics are like shiny mermaid tails! I'd love to see them wrapped around a little mini skirt. The tapes are functional and decorative. There's something about laced up ribbon that makes garments insta-sexy! The fabric is super cute too! It is in limited supply so I'll have to keep my own little stash (I admit, I'm a fabric hoarder). Doe Deere of DoeDeereBlogazine, formally know as the Lime Criminal, has mentioned Cookie Party on her blog. She is the mastermind behind Lime Crime makeup and updates her uber popular blog daily. Miss Alphabet: A Doll of a Designer!

Oh my goodness, I can't beleive it's been so long since I've blogged. I'm amazed by all the people who blog daily- and actually have paragraphs worth of content. I guess they're called writers:) With the magnitude of tasks a small business owner has to take care of, blogging tends to be closer to the bottom of the list. I do however, like to take time out and share, as well as catalog, d.i.y. designers I come across that have quirky designs that make me happy to see creativity at it's best-as functional fashion!

I came across this gal on Twitter: Miss Alphabet, is a real life doll! She designs some very unconventional dresses, tops, skirts and accessories. I would have to describe her style as punky/lolita, although I'm sure she could expand on to that. She uses a lot of pink too, which is always a plus in my book!
