New Fabric, Trims and Tapes!!

I'm so excited I got these new trims in! The metallic ruffled elastics are like shiny mermaid tails! I'd love to see them wrapped around a little mini skirt. The tapes are functional and decorative. There's something about laced up ribbon that makes garments insta-sexy! The fabric is super cute too! It is in limited supply so I'll have to keep my own little stash (I admit, I'm a fabric hoarder). Doe Deere of DoeDeereBlogazine, formally know as the Lime Criminal, has mentioned Cookie Party on her blog. She is the mastermind behind Lime Crime makeup and updates her uber popular blog daily. Her name and styles are one of the first to come to mind when I think of d.i.y. in it's earlier internet stages. She mentioned using our Cupcake Party Buttons to "spruce up clothes with fun buttons". Miss Alphabet: A Doll of a Designer!

Oh my goodness, I can't beleive it's been so long since I've blogged. I'm amazed by all the people who blog daily- and actually have paragraphs worth of content. I guess they're called writers:) With the magnitude of tasks a small business owner has to take care of, blogging tends to be closer to the bottom of the list. I do however, like to take time out and share, as well as catalog, d.i.y. designers I come across that have quirky designs that make me happy to see creativity at it's best-as functional fashion!

I came across this gal on Twitter: Miss Alphabet, is a real life doll! She designs some very unconventional dresses, tops, skirts and accessories. I would have to describe her style as punky/lolita, although I'm sure she could expand on to that. She uses a lot of pink too, which is always a plus in my book!
